How does the sign-up process work?
When signing up, we will ask for the email address of the person who will be the admin or point person on the account. After completing that process, this user will get an email with an invitation to create an account. As they are creating the account, they will be able to add members of their team.
What happens during and after the trial?
Your 14-day free trial includes full access to every feature. Billing begins automatically when the trial ends, and if you cancel before then you won't be charged.
How many employees can use the product?
Our goal is to provide a product designed to meet the needs of small businesses and nonprofits at a fraction of the price that traditional HR platforms charge. For this reason, we do cap the number of users per organization at 50.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your data is retained for 90 days after cancellation, so you can reactivate and pick up right where you left off. After 90 days it is permanently deleted from our systems, and we'll send you an email notification before that happens. If you'd prefer immediate deletion, just email contact@amalgampartners.com and we'll take care of it.
How will I know my data is secure?
All data is encrypted in transit using TLS/SSL, and database access is restricted to authorized systems only. API credentials are stored securely and never exposed. Access is strictly scoped per merchant, so no business can ever see another's data, and we run regular security reviews on our infrastructure. Every integration is read-only — we can read your data, never change it.
How quickly can we implement Rekord HR?
The tool is designed to avoid lengthy onboarding, meaning implementations should take under a day in most cases. It is mostly a matter of completing the sign-up process and inviting the rest of your team to join.
